The Press Conference of the Vietnamese Running Man – Chạy Đi Chờ Chi was held on March 20th, 2019 at Gem Center, in which Mr. Lim Jae Hoon – the Korean Consul General in HCMC expressed his congratulation to production team and wait for the first episode.
The popular variety show “Running Man” by South Korean national television network SBS first aired on July 2010 which focused on games and missions that the casts and guests have to complete to win the race in each episode.
Running Man have achieved high viewership ratings and huge fans through over 400 episodes for 9 years.
Chạy Đi Chờ Chi is aiming to produce a customized, high-quality program that will collaborate with the original Korean “Running Man” production staff in a manner that brings out the best in each production.
It is the second overseas edition of the popular South Korean show, following a version in Chinese.
The Vietnamese version will feature a celebrity cast comprising actor Tran Thanh, actor-singer Ngo Kien Huy, actress Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc, actor-singer Jun Pham, comedian BB Tran, actor-singer Truong The Vinh and actor Lien Binh Phat.
At the press conference announcing the show’s last week, Tran Thanh said Ninh Duong Lan Ngoc was the only female among the cast and the fact that she has been able to accomplish missions despite the odds being against her in order to win.

Chạy Đi Chờ Chi is the Vietnamese edition of Running Man and produced by SBS, Madison Media Group (MMG) and Lime Entertainment. Chay Di Cho Chi has been filming about 10 episodes and promoting Vietnamese custom, tradition and culture.
The first episode of the Vietnamese version will be aired on April 6th at 7:30pm on HTV7 and 8:00 pm on AMC – SCTV2.
